DOES IT SPRAY A LIQUID OR GEL TYPE PRODUCT?

The BGR MAX spray is liquid.

WHAT IS THE SAFETY MECHANISM TO PREVENT ACCIDENTAL DISCHARGE ON THE .5 OZ?

The 0.5 BGR sprays do have a raised top to stop from accidently swiping the tab over, they also have a small dimple lock on the tab, so you have to intentionally push it over to unlock it and have to intentionally push the tab down to spray.

WHAT IS EXPIRATION DATE ON BAD GUY REPELLENT SPRAY?

There should be an expiration date on each individual canister.

HOW LONG DOES THESE SPRAYS STAY EFFECTIVE?

A: BGR Sprays have a 4-year Shelf life.
We recommend:
1. Storing your Sprays at room temperature.
2. Not leaving Sprays in your glove box or outside for an extended period when the weather is below freezing; or in extreme heat.
3. Carrying your Sprays under a jacket or vest and in close contact with your body when carrying outside in winter conditions.

CAN A BGR BE USED MULTIPLE TIMES, OR IS IT A "1 SHOT" PRODUCT?

The BGR are intended for one time use.
The 0.5oz BGR spray has an effective range of 12-15 ft and will spray for 5 seconds. 
The 2oz BGR spray has an effective range of 12-15 ft and will spray for 15 seconds.
The 1 pound BGR spray has an effective range of 20 ft and will spray for 70-90 seconds.
